The brief

The technology at Kempa Kai needed to integrate seamlessly into the home’s unique Balinesian design, and still provide great quality audio for entertaining.  Color matched speaker grilles are recessed into custom finished ceilings, gazebos, and even underwater in the pool.

The property is utilized for short term high end rentals, so everything needed to be intuitive and stable.  Sonos was selected for the music system to drive the house.  Whether in the Crow’s Nest, the great room, or under water in the pool, guests can select what music they’d like to listen to in which rooms, and control  the source or volume for each.  

The whole property is blanketed with high speed wifi from entry to the sea providing guests with fast internet access for using the home’s systems and their own devices.

The TVs and music are controlled by intuitive apps, allowing all systems to be shut off with the touch of a button when leaving the house, or an easy way to turn on a whole house entertainment scene when coming home.
